The Fighting Irish placed second only to a highly ranked all province team from Alberta. The best grade nine wrestler, Oscar Tapia, place an impressive second place, competing againt older and stronger grade tens. Unfortunatly, he was the only junior to score points for the Irish.

The senior were led by captain Ken Overton, who easily acquired a gold medal, in the 78 kilo weight class. His twin, Jon, placed an equally impressive third place in the tough 66 weight class. Ralph Pinto (aka the sherpa) reached his personal best by earning a silver medal. Grade eleven heavyweight Alex Stradiotti earned a silver medal in his weight class, while Ian Kennedy wrestled to a fifth place finish.
