Welcome, Vancouver College Alumni! We are proud to be able to connect all VC Alumni from different parts of the world through various events organized by the VC Alumni Association with the support of the school.
The Vancouver College Alumni Association, a registered society with the Society Act of BC (VCAA Bylaws), is led by a volunteer board of alumni that work to foster the social environment of the Vancouver College community. The VCAA organizes annual events such as the Homecoming Game, Alumni & Friends Golf Tournament, Alumni & Friends Christmas Luncheon, Alumni Hockey Game, The Devenport Cup, Alumni Fishing Derby, class reunions, and more.

Mission and Purpose
Mission – Connecting the Vancouver College Alumni with each other and the Vancouver College School Community
Our purpose is to:
- Bring together its Membership within an inclusive and supportive community.
- Organize Alumni events and to support School events that foster connection and growth within the VC Alumni and Vancouver College Community.
- Give back to the Vancouver College Community according to its needs and in ways deemed appropriate by the VCAA through sponsored events and fundraising initiatives.
- Building upon the skills and experience of its Membership, to connect VC Alumni and students to support their personal and professional development.
- Provide direct feedback to the Vancouver College leadership team - its Trustees, Board of Directors, and Administration in regard to the development and implementation of key policies, strategic goals and long-term vision of the school such that they align with the best historical values and tradition of Vancouver College.

Vancouver College is devoted to addressing the litigation brought forward by a VC alumnus alleging abuse by a former staff member between 1976 and 2013, with the lawsuit's recent Class Action certification in March 2023.
Our current emphasis is on the mediation process as we continue to work towards true healing and peace. A crucial initial step involves reaching out to potential class action members and providing them with the Class Action Notice. On August 25, we initiated this outreach by disseminating the comprehensive Long Form Notice of Certification through email and mail to those enrolled at Vancouver College from 1976 to 2013, as per our records.

This year’s basketball tournament is monumental as Mayor of Vancouver, Ken Sim, declared May 6, 2023 “John Dumont Day” in honour of John Dumont (VC 1993) and the legacy he left behind.

VC Alumni Garrett Collier (VC 1997) was presented the Athletics Canada’s Jane and Gerry Swann Award as Development Coach of the Year.
