The STRING society is dedicated to enriching students’ experience in the three major fields of science: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. All senior students who are taking any of these three science courses are encouraged to join. Activities in this club include doing experiments with DNA, attending seminars by expert researchers, and going on a three-day trip to Bamfield to study marine biology. Students may also have the opportunity to visit the TRIUMF facility for nuclear and particle physics. These are but a few of the exciting journeys with the STRING Society.
